Dangers exist on and off road for your universal joint， so protectit with the AltRider Universal Joint Guard for the Yamaha SuperTenere XT1200Z.The AltRider part is larger than OEM， and features an enclosed topthat attaches to the nut on the inside of the subframe mount. Thisis important， because the OEM can easily slip inside or snag ridinggear， tripping you up when you attempt to move your foot - ourenclosed top prevents that from occurring.Additionally， the OEM rubber boot that covers the universal jointis attached only by friction， and could become dislodged by foreignobjects. Our universal joint guard offers coverage to the boot，protecting it from debris that could move it.This piece is made in America from 1／8 inch anodized aluminum， andmounts using OEM hardware. It comes in black and silver finishes tocomplement your bike’s color scheme.
